We are the Nueva Luz Foundation, a non-profit organization based in the Rio Grande Valley with the mission of bringing help to those affected by trauma and PTSD. We are located in Weslaco, TX.
We offer programs for children, veterans, first responders, and crime victims. To do our best work for our clients, we need the help of talented student volunteers in the areas of business, English majors, and social workers. In our office environment, we welcome student who are willing to mentor us in their skills, as we share our team-focused environment where self-care is key.
Our environment is great for those students who want to learn and apply their own skills. Through good ethical and moral behavior, we empower our interns to get the full experience of what a healthcare facility expects of them.
