Who We Are
The Weslaco Museum is dedicated to the history of Weslaco and the greater Rio Grande Valley area. We have displays covering geology and fossils, Native American culture, Spanish colonization, Early Texas history, and development of the Valley, as well as agriculture, local economy, and veterans section. We also have a small art gallery in which we display different exhibits every month.
What We Do
The mission of The Weslaco Museum of Local History and Cultural Art is to collect, preserve, exhibit and promote the history, cultural arts, and past traditions of Weslaco, Texas, and its surrounding region.
