What We Do
We offer a festival that celebrates the birds of South Texas through field trips, seminars, tradeshow, and activities. About 500 people come to this festival.
The Rio Grande Valley Birding Festival is one of the largest birding festivals in the country, bringing together nature enthusiasts, families, and community members for five days of activities, educational sessions, and interactive exhibits. Volunteers play an essential role in making this event a success, with opportunities to assist in tradeshow support, field trips, children’s activities, hospitality, art exhibits, and more.
