Texas Rising (Texas Freedom Network)

Texas Rising is a movement of young, diverse, politically engaged Texans working to leverage our power through community organizing, electoral politics, and public policy advocacy. As 25% of the electorate, we're organizing to hold our public officials accountable to all Texans, not special interests and the voices of intolerance and division. Texas Rising advocates for sound public policies addressing reproductive rights, voter suppression, and LGBTQ equality. Together we can build a better Texas.

Texas Rising follows the Wellstone organizing model to fulfill the program's mission. Leadership development, grassroots organizing, public policy, and electoral politics. This looks like lobbying, civic engagement education, get out the vote! events, cultural awareness events, and leadership training. We are a non-partisan, non-profit 501c3 program dedicated to nurturing our upcoming community leaders!
