Vaqueros Volunteer Day Initiative!
Students will report to their designated UTRGV campus for Orientation at their respective morning times and will depart from the campus to SPI. Volunteers will return to campus by 3:00 pm.
All volunteers will receive a drawstring backpack with a Vaqueros Volunteer T-Shirt, water bottle, and UTRGV sunglasses. All students must wear closed-toe shoes (no sandals or flip-flops) and the Vaqueros Volunteer T-shirt while performing volunteer duties. A hat, long sleeves, and sunscreen are recommended to stay cool and for protection.
Activities for service include picking up trash along a designated beach area.
All supplies needed will be provided. Lunch and transportation are provided.
