All internships are unpaid, volunteer-based positions designed to provide valuable hands-on experience in a nonprofit setting. Our services are delivered at community events, partner locations, and pop-up service sites in Brownsville, Texas, and surrounding areas. Community Outreach & Engagement Intern Description:

Gain hands-on experience in community engagement and grassroot outreach.

Interns will assist in planning and attending local events, networking with community partners, and sharing information about our services.

Learn how to create outreach strategies, engage with diverse audiences, and represent a civic organization professionally.

Schedule: Flexible scheduling available based on student availability and event needs. Some weekend and evening opportunities may be included.

Social Media & Marketing Intern Description:

Develop your skills in nonprofit marketing by creating and posting content for our social media platforms.

Assist with photos, videos, captions, and community updates, while learning about brand consistency, engagement tracking, and storytelling for social good.

Case Aide Intern Description:

Assist our team in providing direct support to families and individuals receiving services.

Help with client intake, maintaining case files, organizing follow-up schedules, and preparing resource materials.

Learn about basic case management practices, community resource referrals, and client confidentiality.

Support our educational programs by assisting with class preparation, workshop coordination, and participant engagement.

Help create educational materials, set up learning spaces, and gather feedback from participants.
