Be Still Ministry at Romero Castle Garden Sanctuary is seeking volunteers to assist with event preparation for the Mommy & Me: A Garden Tea Soirée. Volunteers will help create a welcoming and peaceful environment for mothers and children throughout the Rio Grande Valley through decorating, organizing event spaces, and preparing garden areas prior to the event.

Duties:

Assist with event setup and decorating Support garden preparation and organization Help with floral preparation and arrangement Organize supplies, materials, and event spaces Prepare activity and guest areas before the event Support general event preparation tasks as needed

Volunteers will assist with craft and activity stations during the Mommy & Me: A Garden Tea Soirée. This role supports creating a fun, welcoming, and engaging experience for participating families and children throughout the event.

Duties:

Assist with craft and activity stations Help organize activity materials and supplies Support children and families during activities Maintain activity stations clean and organized Provide friendly assistance and engagement throughout the event Support activity station setup and organization as needed

The Guest Hospitality & Family Support Team will help welcome and guide families attending the Mommy & Me: A Garden Tea Soirée. Volunteers will support guest check-in and assist families throughout the event to help create a positive and encouraging experience.

Duties:

Assist with guest check-in and welcome guests Help families navigate activity stations and event areas Answer basic questions and provide directions Support a welcoming and organized environment Assist with guest flow and event hospitality Provide general support to families throughout the event

Volunteers will support food and refreshment operations during the Mommy & Me: A Garden Tea Soirée. This role helps ensure families and guests have an organized and welcoming refreshment experience throughout the event.

Duties:

Assist with organizing refreshments and supplies Help distribute food and beverages to guests Maintain refreshment stations clean and stocked Support hospitality and guest service efforts Assist with organizing serving and refreshment areas Support general food and refreshment operations as needed

Volunteers will assist with cleanup and event breakdown following the Mommy & Me: A Garden Tea Soirée. This role supports restoring event spaces and helping conclude the event smoothly and efficiently.

Duties:

Assist with event cleanup and breakdown Remove decorations, materials, and supplies Organize and store event equipment and materials Dispose of trash and maintain clean event areas Help restore event spaces after the event concludes Support final cleanup and organizational tasks as needed

Volunteers will assist with administrative and operational support for the Mommy & Me: A Garden Tea Soirée. This role helps support organization, coordination, and overall event preparation and maintenance efforts.
