Join us for the second annual State of the City Address, 'Brownsville 2025: Edge of the Future,' presented by Mayor John Cowen. Hosted by the Brownsville Chamber of Commerce and the City of Brownsville, this event will bring together local businesses, community leaders, and stakeholders to celebrate the city’s achievements over the past year and discuss the vision for Brownsville’s future. It’s an opportunity to engage with the progress and growth shaping our community.

Volunteer Duties:

- Removing registration materials such as name badges, programs, and any other event items after the check-in process is complete.

- Breaking down the registration table and packing up materials (pens, papers, event handouts).

- Organizing the area to ensure it is clean and cleared for the next part of the event.

- Assisting with any leftover logistics to ensure everything is properly stored or disposed of.

*Please be advised, volunteers are encouraged to wear comfortable shoes as the role may require extensive walking and standing throughout the event. 

*Black attire is preferred to maintain a professional and cohesive look. 

*Some tasks may involve lifting or carrying items, so please be prepared for light physical activity.

Volunteers will receive training in their respective roles: Friday March 21, 2025 at the 1:30 PM at the TSC Performing Arts Center (Mandatory In-Person Meeting)
