Support community beautification efforts with the City of Brownsville during the BRIGHT Initiative Clean-Up!
Volunteers will assist with litter and debris pick-up, light outdoor clean-up support, and general beautification efforts in the Los Ebanos and Renfro areas.
Date: Friday, March 20, 2026
Time: 8:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m.
Meeting Location: Perez Elementary School
Volunteers will be transported from the meeting location to the service areas.
Volunteer Duties:
• Litter and debris pick-up
• Light outdoor clean-up support
• General beautification activities
Requirements:
• Must be 16 years of age or older
• Completion of City liability waiver required
What Will Be Provided:
• Cleaning materials and equipment
• Transportation
• Water and snacks
Recommended Attire:
• Closed-toe shoes
• Long sleeves and pants or leggings
• Hat and sunscreen
• Personal refillable water bottle strongly encouraged
