Join us for a lively celebration of South Texas agriculture at the Second Annual Farmer Games, hosted by the Brownsville Wellness Coalition (BWC)! This exciting event showcases the energy and traditions of farm life through engaging, family-friendly games.
Event Overview:
The Farmer Olympics will feature a mix of competitive and non-competitive activities inspired by the daily tasks of farmers, gardeners, and ranchers. Attendees can participate in games like hay bale tossing, vegetable harvesting races, and other farm-themed challenges. Taking place during the Brownsville Farmers Market, this event promotes local businesses, fosters community connections, and supports the local economy
Volunteer Shift: 7:00 AM – 1:00 PM (6 hours total)
Registration Deadline: Saturday, April 19, 2025
Volunteer Roles & Responsibilities:
- Set up game stations before the event
- Reset and organize materials between rounds
- Assist with breaking down and packing up equipment after the event
Dress Code: Athleisure attire with closed-toe shoes (No spaghetti straps or leggings)
