Do you like to read out loud to your brothers or sisters? Do your kids ask you to "do the voices" when you read to them before bedtime? How about construction paper, popsicle sticks and glitter glue? Then you may be exactly what we are looking for!
We are hosting an event to help encourage literacy, creativity, and positive social interaction for kids during their summer break. The program includes group reading and hands-on crafts led by older youth and young adult volunteers. It’s a great way to support children in the community in a fun and meaningful way.
No special experience is required — just a positive attitude and a willingness to help!
Volunteers Duties:
- Reading aloud to small groups of children
- Assisting younger kids with their crafts
- Helping set up before the event and clean up afterward
Volunteer Requirements:
- Volunteers must be at least 14 years of age. There is no maximum age
