All internships are unpaid, volunteer-based positions designed to provide valuable hands-on experience in a nonprofit setting. Please note: After Hours Community Project is currently a mobile program. Our services are delivered at community events, partner locations, and pop-up service sites in Brownsville, Texas, and surrounding areas. Interns will gain experience working in diverse community setting. Interns must have access to their own laptop for certain tasks.
Community Outreach & Engagement Intern Description:
Gain hands-on experience in community engagement and grassroot outreach.
Interns will assist in planning and attending local events, networking with community partners, and sharing information about our services.
Learn how to create outreach strategies, engage with diverse audiences, and represent a civic organization professionally.
Schedule: Flexible scheduling available based on student availability and event needs. Some weekend and evening opportunities may be included.
