Commitment: Minimum 100 hours of service
Description: Students work with the Sea Turtle Inc. marketing team to learn how conservation organizations use digital platforms to engage the public. Responsibilities include creating and organizing mission-related content for social media, documenting animal care, conservation work, nesting activity, and education programs, supporting digital storytelling through photos, short videos, and written content, and contributing ideas for campaigns that help people understand and support sea turtle conservation.
Schedule / Hours: Shifts typically range between 8:30 AM and 5:00 PM, split into 2–4 hour increments based on assignment.
Location: South Padre Island, Texas — onsite or offsite depending on activities.
Requirements:
- Must be at least 15 years old
- Complete volunteer application
- Attend New Volunteer Training
