Are you ready to be part of the phenomenon known as "Vuelta". You can be one of hundreds of balloon handlers that spin giant helium balloons throughout the 1.5 mile parade route as the crowds chant "Vuelta".
Balloon handlers will receive gloves, t-shirt and snacks. Volunteers must be 18 years or over and must go through a background check. All volunteers are required to have a volunteer badge at scheduled event. A check-in area will be available with further information on volunteer assignment.
The McAllen Holiday Parade will take place at the McAllen Veterans Memorial Stadium located on 2001 N Bicentennial Blvd. The parade will begin at 6 p.m.
