Texas Land Commissioner George P. Bush is calling on volunteers in the Rio Grande Valley for the 20th annual Winter Beach Cleanup on Friday, Feb. 12, at South Padre Island. Registration begins at 8:30 AM. The cleanup will take place from 9 AM to noon.
Volunteers are asked to wear closed-toe shoes and bring plenty of drinking water. Adopt-A-Beach will provide all necessary materials. Meet at Andy Bowie Park, Beach Access #2 7300 N Padre Blvd.
