We are looking for community members to join us as guest readers in our classrooms on Tuesday, March 3rd, 2026, from 8:30 a.m. - 11:00 a.m. Volunteers should arrive no later than 8:15 a.m. to check-in and get further instructions followed by reading sessions beginning promptly at 8:30 a.m.
Each volunteer will have up to an hour to read to students from Pre-K3 to 5th grade (ages 3 to 11) and take part in a fun, school-provided activity.
We encourage volunteers to share how reading has helped them in their personal or professional lives. This will help students understand why literacy is important. Our goal is to create a fun and meaningful experience that helps students see the joy and power of reading.
Volunteers must show a photo ID to gain entry to the school.
