Adopt-A-Beach- BROWNSVILLE
Students must report to the front of the Brownsville UTRGV campus for Orientation at 7:30 am and will depart via charter bus at 7:45 am. Volunteers will return to campus by 2:45 pm.
All volunteers will receive a drawstring backpack with a Vaqueros Volunteer T-Shirt, water bottle, and UTRGV sunglasses. All students must wear closed-toe shoes (no sandals or flip-flops) and the Vaqueros Volunteer T-shirt while performing volunteer duties. A hat, long sleeves, and sunscreen are recommended to stay cool and for protection.
Activities for service include picking up trash along a designated beach area.
All supplies needed will be provided. Lunch and transportation are provided.
A student response form must be submitted at the end of the event before hours are approved.
