Monica's House and Maggie's House are looking for on site volunteers who are willing to be trained in Family Advocacy.
Experience with children is preferred. Bilingual preferred. Own transportation is NEEDED.

Two locations:

Brownsville- Monica's House
Clerical
- Answer telephone/receptionist duties
- Help with computer work
- Make copies
Greetings
- Offer refreshments to the family
- Play with child while advocate is working with supportive parent or individual
- Pick up after family and children.
- General housekeeping.
Family Advocacy
- Willing to learn and conduct advocate duties with supervision
- Gather personal information regarding family and children
- Assist advocate in interacting with the family and making them feel comfortable.
