Volunteers are needed to help Moody Clinic participate in Brownsville's The Big Give! The initiative, taking place Saturday, September 15th 2018, is a 24-hour event that takes place one time a year to empower every person to give back to their local communities by supporting the organizations they trust.
The mission of the Big Give is to cultivate the power of giving back. With our motto, "All for one and One for all!" more than 20 non-profit organizations with a 501 c 3 status by the IRS work together to cultivate donations and share the proceeds equally.
Nonprofits have been assigned to different intersections throughout the community to ask for donations. Moody Clinic is asking volunteers to give two hours of their time at the Boca Chica intersection to ask for funds to any passerby. We will provide snacks and water to keep you hydrated.
By giving a bit of your time, you can help make a difference to our program! Moody Clinic provides speech/language, physical and occupational rehabilitative treatment to children diagnosed with development delays, disabilities or acquired injuries. As the only nonprofit outpatient rehabilitative clinic in the Rio Grande Valley, we provide affordable access to healthcare services to those who otherwise would go untreated.
