CASA of Cameron & Willacy Counties is seeking compassionate and dedicated UTRGV students and community members to become CASA Volunteer Advocates for children in foster care.
CASA volunteers are appointed by a judge to advocate for the best interests of children who have experienced abuse or neglect. Volunteers provide consistent support, build meaningful connections, and help ensure each child’s voice is heard throughout their case.
Volunteers receive training and ongoing support from CASA staff. This opportunity is ideal for students interested in social work, psychology, criminal justice, education, law, healthcare, and community advocacy.
By becoming a CASA Advocate, you can make a lasting difference in a child’s life.
Please note: CASA of Cameron & Willacy Counties cannot supervise Interns for certain degrees e.g. Social Work, Counseling, etc. For more information or questions, please connect with us.
