Celebrate Make a Difference Day by volunteering at the Frontera Audubon! Make a Difference Day is a nationwide day of community service that brings together millions of volunteers across the country.

 

  • Date: Saturday, October 26, 2024

  • Event Time: 9:00 am -12:00 pm

Volunteers will assist with the cleaning and upkeep of trails.

 

Dress Code: Please wear closed-toe shoes and long pants suitable for outdoor terrain and weather appropriate, protective clothing.


Volunteers are required to sign a waiver prior to volunteering.

About Frontera Audubon: Frontera Audubon is 15-acre nature preserve in the heart of the City of Weslaco in the Rio Grande Valley of South Texas providing a haven for birds, butterflies and other wildlife that thrive among the native habitats of its Tamaulipan Thornscrub forest, orchard butterfly garden, wetlands, and ponds. The non-profit organization has been in existence since the late 1970s and has been operating from its current location since 2000.
