La Feria ISD in partnership with Special Olympics Texas Rio Grande Valley Area will be hosting 2024 Lower Valley Basketball Skills Competition on Saturday, February 22, 2025 at La Feria High School.
Volunteer duties:
- Escorting Guests: Assisting with the safe and organized movement of participants, attendees, or VIPs to designated areas.
- Station assistants: Providing support and maintaining the operation of assigned stations or activity areas.
- Event Set-Up, Tear-Down, and Equipment Handling: Preparing the venue by setting up and dismantling equipment or decorations, as well as loading and unloading necessary items.
Please wear athletic, comfortable clothing and closed-toe athletic shoes—sandals or Crocs are not allowed. Volunteers are also encouraged to wear clothing that promotes their student organization (if applicable) or university.
