The Master Clothing Volunteers (MCVs.) are a volunteer group supported by Texas A&M AgriLife Extension. The Master Clothing Volunteer Program is designed to develop leadership, entrepreneurship, and teaching skills using textile techniques and garment construction. Trained Master Clothing Volunteers work in their communities to assist youth, families, and community groups in learning how to buy, construct, and care for garments and create other textile items.
The MCVs are hosting a Craft Fair on November 3rd at the Edinburg Activity Center located at 123 E. Palm, Edinburg TX from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. We are needing volunteers to help with the setup, facilitate the event, and load up. If you are interested in volunteering, you may contact Joanne Ureste at 956-383-1026 or e-mail her at joanne.ureste@ag.tamu.edu.
