Volunteer: Probaditas 2025 – Nutrition & Community SupportProbaditas 2025 – Nutrition & Community Support Support Probaditas, a program promoting La Cocina Alegre through community outreach. Volunteers will assist with general tasks including: Food preparation and handling Event set-up and clean-up Engaging with the public and sharing information about La Cocina Alegre Assisting with teaching or demos Helping with community outreach and participant logistics Shifts Available: Tuesdays and Thursdays: Morning 9 am - 1 pm & Afternoon 1 pm - 5 pm Weekends: 9 AM – 12 PM It's three probaditas per week. (Please check your emails to be updated about every available shift and times.) Requirements/Attire: Minimum age: 19 Dress code: Casual and clean; no spaghetti straps or very short shorts/skirts Comfortable shoes recommended Food handler certification on Blackboard encouraged Location: Varies; report to UTHealth for coordination Assignments and confirmations will be coordinated directly by the La Cocina Alegre team.
