Habitat RGV is looking for a dependable, organized Administrative & Office Support Intern to help keep daily office operations running smoothly. This role is perfect for someone who enjoys being helpful, communicating with the public, and learning how a nonprofit operates behind the scenes. You’ll get hands-on experience in office administration while supporting a mission that directly impacts families in our community.

Key Responsibilities

Answer and direct incoming phone calls in a friendly, professional manner Organize, file, and maintain digital and physical records efficiently Provide light clerical support to the Executive Director (data entry, copying, scanning, preparing documents, etc.) Help manage mail, office supplies, and general office tasks Assist with scheduling, reminders, and simple coordination when needed Support other administrative tasks as assigned

Habitat RGV is seeking a creative, motivated Marketing/Social Media Intern or Volunteer who is excited to help tell real stories and grow awareness for a mission-driven nonprofit. We’re looking for someone who brings fresh ideas for engaging content, understands what performs well on social media, and is eager to learn through hands-on experience. This role is ideal for a student or emerging professional who wants to build a marketing portfolio while supporting a cause that directly impacts families in our community.

You’ll support our marketing efforts in a variety of ways, including:

Brainstorm and propose social media content ideas (posts, reels, stories, campaigns) that fit our mission and audience Assist with capturing photos/videos at builds, events, home dedications, ReStore, and community outreach Draft captions, short-form stories, and basic graphics that highlight our work and partners Help monitor engagement and suggest ways to improve reach and impact Support other marketing tasks as needed (flyers, email content, event promotion, etc.)
