BALLOON HANDLER – Have fun and be a part of the Holiday Parade. Handlers must be 18 and over and must weigh no less than 120 pounds. Handler will help put balloons in place and assist in getting them ready for the parade. Handler will work with a team to carry the giant cold-air helium inflatable balloons down the parade route. The liability waiver and background check form must be brought, in person, to City of McAllen Human Resources Department, 1300 West Houston Avenue, between 7:30 am and 5:30 pm Monday-Friday, no later than Thursday, December 1st.
Balloon Handlers must arrive at the McAllen Chamber of Commerce at 3:30 pm on Saturday, December 3rd. You will be shuttled to the beginning of the parade and will finish near the Chamber of Commerce.
