Who We Are
Texas Organ Sharing Alliance (TOSA) is a non-profit focused on saving lives through organ donation in Central & South Texas. We are an affiliate of Donate Life Texas, the official registry for organ, eye and tissue donors.
What We Do
TOSA is one of only 58 non-profit 501(c)(3), independent, federally-designated Organ Procurement Organizations (OPOs) in the United States dedicated to educating and providing organ donation and recovery services to families wishing to donate and to those waiting for a life-saving organ transplant. Founded in 1975 TOSA provides service to more than 100 hospitals and six transplant centers in 56 Central and South Texas Counties. TOSA is based out of San Antonio and has regional offices in Austin and McAllen.
Our Friends for Life Volunteers assist us in the community to educate and assist individuals interested in becoming registered donors. They also assist us at events honoring organ donors in our community, among other activities.
