This is the second annual Autism Awareness Day, last year’s recipient of UTRGV’s [Most] Outstanding Event/Program on Campus Award. The event consists of an information fair (12 PM – 2 PM) and a water paint balloon toss fundraiser (12 PM -2 PM). The purpose of the fair is to raise awareness about autism, mental health, and disabilities. The fundraiser is for the Moody Clinic—a non-profit
outpatient pediatric rehabilitation facility for children with special needs.
