The Edinburg Scenic Wetlands and World Birding Center will have a booth and would like to know if anyone will be interested in volunteering with us at this event. Volunteers will be assisting EWBC staff with an activity for children and families.
The Dustin M. Sekula Memorial Library and the University of Texas Rio Grande Valley would like to invite you to come out and enjoy the 2020 Festival of International Books and Arts (FESTIBA) Community Day. This event will be held on Friday, March 6, 2020, from 6:00 pm to 10:00 pm in the City of Edinburg Courtyard located at 415 W. University Dr. in Edinburg, Texas.
FESTIBA is an educational and entertaining event that promotes literacy and appreciation for reading for all ages. The event also inspires the community to broaden their cultural awareness and appreciation of the arts through the many activities that take place during the festivities. This event will provide authors with the opportunity to meet Library Directors from Hidalgo County and arrange possible book presentations at their library. Authors can also promote and sell their books at the event.
