IMAS is looking for enthusiastic volunteers who are passionate about giving back to the community through education and culture for Exploring the Olmecs at IMAS event. 

Description: Join us at IMAS and learn about the Olmecs and other Mesoamerican civilizations as we celebrate the fifteenth anniversary of our beloved Olmec Colossal Head. Come create an Olmec sculpture, create a rubber ball, weave a bookmark, and more! 

Activities: Art Studio- Olmec head clay sculpting 

- Assist participants in sculpting clay replicas of Olmec heads.

- Provide guidance on basic sculpting techniques and materials.

- Helping distribute clay to visitors.

- Ensure the workspace remains clean and organized throughout the activity.

- Encourage creativity and engagement among participants.

Volunteers will be required to fill out the IMAS Waiver of Liability form before volunteering.

When volunteers arrive, Educators will give instruction on the activity in that space and the assistance needed.
