IMAS is looking for friendly and outgoing volunteers to assist the education department in facilitating engaging hands-on activities during PNC Adventure Day. PNC Adventure Day is a fun-filled spring day celebrating young children! Families can get resources on early childhood learning and enjoy a day of programs, activities and play as a family. Enjoy special activities for children 5 and under.
Activity (Biozone): Telephone: Cup & String Engineering
Create a fun telephone with cups and string and learn how sound travels through vibrations.
Volunteers Duties:
- Assist educators in facilitating the hands-on science activity.
- Distribute materials for the cup-and-string telephone.
- Help visitors with the activity as needed.
- Ensure the string stays tight for proper sound transmission.
Must wear closed toes shoes, friendly family attire, no ripped jeans or graphic imagery.
