IMAS is seeking volunteers who are interested in giving back and engaging with the community by assisting in the hands-on activities during the April 26th Community Day: Exploring and Celebrating the Cultures of Spanish America. Visitors will discover and explore the cultures of Spanish America at IMAS through guided tours and hands on activities. This event will highlight new exhibits: Ceremonies of the Americas: The Engravings of Bernard Picart, Paintings from Spanish America and Destino Sur.

Volunteer Duties: Peruvian Animal Craft

- Assist visitors in creating paper plate llamas to celebrate the importance of llamas and alpacas in Peru.

- Help with decorating the llamas using yarn, markers, and other craft materials.

- Provide guidance and encouragement during the craft process.

- Ensure materials are organized and available for participants to use.

Requirements: Must wear closed toes shoes, friendly family attire, no ripped jeans or graphic imagery.
