RGV Community Impact invites you to volunteer at the Food Bank of the Rio Grande Valley to support families experiencing food insecurity.
As a Food Sorting & Distribution Volunteer, your main responsibilities will include:
- Sorting, organizing, and packing food donations
- Assisting with the preparation of food boxes for distribution
- Restocking and organizing supplies
- Helping maintain a clean and efficient work area
- Providing friendly assistance to food bank staff and community members
This event will take place outdoors, and volunteers are encouraged to bring a cap/hat, sunglasses, SPF, and a refillable water bottle.
Light snacks and water will be provided to keep you energized throughout your shift.
Your service will make a direct impact in helping local families access the food they need.
