Assist the Center of the Borderlands during the Going Varsity in Mariachi film screening and panel discussion featuring directors Alejandra Vasquez and Sam Osborn. Volunteers will help ensure smooth event operations before and after the screening.
Responsibilities:
Shift 1 (4:15 PM – 6:15 PM)
- Add signage around the building and areas to direct attendees to the theater
- Usher guests to their seats
- Help set up the backdrop
- Take photos and short videos
Shift 2 (7:15 PM – 9:15 PM)
- Take photos and short videos
- Assist with setting up and breakdown for the panel discussion
- Facilitate microphone Q&A
- Help clean up after the event
