Habitat RGV is looking for a dependable, organized Administrative & Office Support Intern to help keep daily office operations running smoothly. This role is perfect for someone who enjoys being helpful, communicating with the public, and learning how a nonprofit operates behind the scenes. You’ll get hands-on experience in office administration while supporting a mission that directly impacts families in our community.
Key Responsibilities
- Answer and direct incoming phone calls in a friendly, professional manner
- Organize, file, and maintain digital and physical records efficiently
- Provide light clerical support to the Executive Director (data entry, copying, scanning, preparing documents, etc.)
- Help manage mail, office supplies, and general office tasks
- Assist with scheduling, reminders, and simple coordination when needed
- Support other administrative tasks as assigned
We’re a small but busy team, and like most nonprofits, we often wear multiple hats. That means this role will be varied and hands-on. You’ll gain experience across different types of marketing and communications, and you’ll have the chance to contribute wherever your skills fit best.
