The Engaged Scholar Symposium (ES2) brings together students, faculty, and community partners to showcase research, creative work, and civic engagement. Each year, ES2 relies on a dedicated support team to ensure a smooth and welcoming experience for all attendees.
As part of the Set-Up Crew, you will play a key role in preparing the event space before the symposium begins. This role offers hands-on experience in event operations while allowing you to contribute to a large-scale academic conference.
Duties include:
- Assisting with room and venue setup
- Arranging tables, chairs, signage, and materials
- Supporting staff with last-minute preparations
- Ensuring presentation spaces are ready and organized
- Professionally network
- Get a behind-the-scenes look at the conference
- Contribute to your overall professional profile, resume, and CV
