Commitment: Minimum 100 hours of service
Description: Students assist the education team with community engagement and environmental education initiatives. Responsibilities may include helping facilitate school field trips, supporting educational camps or programs, assisting with activities, and helping staff deliver engaging conservation education experiences for visitors.
Schedule / Hours: Shifts typically range between 8:30 AM and 5:00 PM, split into 2–4 hour increments based on assignment.
Location: South Padre Island, Texas — onsite or offsite depending on activities.
Requirements:
- Must be at least 15 years old
- Complete volunteer application
- Attend New Volunteer Training
