Students will assist during the Wrangler with our Produce Truck where we give students free produce, until supplies last. You can email us at foodpantry@utrgv.edu to learn some more information or you can look on our socials- utrgvfoodpantry to stay up to date about the event & learn from previous Produce Pop-ups. You may arrive and depart as wish as we know this is a long event (11am-3pm), any support would be greatly appreciated.
Responsibilities may include:
- Passing out flyers
- Giving out bags
- Replacing produce boxes (lifting us to 20 lbs)
- Informing students about how much produce they may take
- Informing students about the UTRGV Student Food Pantry
- Tabling duties (e.g. giving UTRGV Student Food Pantry information and prizes to students)
- Helping set up or take down our tabling area
Requirements:
- UTRGV Student
- Can lift up to 20 pounds
