Volunteers needed to help direct attendees to Housing Authority of the City of Brownsville's 2nd Annual Dance to Beat Cancer Walkathon.
Children, adults, and elderly will be "dancing' through the heart of Buena Vida district in downtown Brownsville for our annual walkathon in honor of Breast Cancer Awareness Month. We will be needing help to help direct our group from 1406 E. 14th St. to Edelstein Park on Polk St. and then down to Farmer's Market at Linear Park.
Volunteers can meet us at Buena Vida Choice Neighborhood Headquarters on 1406. E. 14st st. at 7:30am. We will sign you in and assign tasks that will include helping us register teams, handing out t-shirts and monitor or lead our groups as they "dance" through the streets to Linear Park.
Bring your best most comfortable dancing shoes!
