The Edinburg Scenic Wetlands & World Birding Center is seeking volunteers to help with the Summer Survival Series, in which participants will get the opportunity to learn outdoor survival skills through various activities tied to a fun story-line theme.
Help is needed in a variety of areas:
-Set up each day: setting up tables, chairs, props, activity supplies, decorations, etc.
-Assisting activity leaders: helping them with whatever is needed with their activity
-Help groups move from one station to the other, lead them to the next activity station
-Play a character role (character volunteers can be supplied with a few costume items, but their help is needed to create costumes)
-Creating/developing costumes
-Creating decorations/props
-Tearing down, picking up props/decorations at the end of the event
Training Day 1: 6pm - 8pm Wednesday, July 17th
Training Day 2: 6pm - 8pm Wednesday, July 24th
Dragon Survival Challenge: 6pm - 8pm Wednesday, July 31st
