The EWBC is hosting a closing event/awards ceremony for participants of the 2019 Family Summer Adventure Challenge program that ran throughout the summer.
Participants that took part in the Family Summer Adventure Challenge, a free program where they received a booklet containing 12 challenges they needed to complete, and were encouraged to visit at least 4 out of the 21 nature sites in the RGV to complete them. At the awards ceremony, families who turned in a booklet with the required criteria completed will be eligible to win prizes, and they'll also be treated to various activities throughout the length of the event.
Volunteers are needed from 10 a.m. - 12 p.m. (maybe a little longer to help tear down some activities) to help provide a few of these activities for the families, either by assisting them in completing a certain activity or just simply manning the station where the activity will be held to ensure materials do not run out.
