Volunteers will canvass the Laguna Heights area for census outreach and education. You will be going door to door and educating on the importance of the upcoming census. Flyers will be provided and a brief training will occur at the meet up point before breaking into groups.
This community is one of the few Cameron county Hard To Count areas as designated by the Census Bureau and LUPE wants to do all they can to get a complete count in the colonia.
Comfortable shoes are strongly encouraged. You will be walking around the neighborhood.
Volunteers are strongly encouraged to be bilingual.
