This need is for the Starr County location in Rio Grande City, TX.

Operation Border Health Preparedness is an event open to several communities to receive FREE healthcare services.

This event will take place July 24-28 from 8:00 am-3:30 pm

Volunteers are needed to assist in maintaining an informational booth on Tobacco Cessation.

Tasks will include: 

  •  Distributing informational pamphlets/promotional items
  •  Registering patients for the Tobacco Help Line
  •  Answering patient's questions
  •  Daily set-up/breakdown of booth

*Training will be Provided*

Volunteer hours are 7:30 am-4:00 pm with a lunch break.

Lunch can be taken on or off-site; volunteers are responsible for their lunch.

Dress code is casual: neat appearance, solid colored shirt, comfortable footwear (preferably closed shoes), NO SHORTS
